Yum PPF Serum | Dedicated Ceramic Coating for Film & Wraps
Paint Protection Film (PPF) is brilliant for stopping stone chips, but it has one major downside: bare film can feel a bit grabby and naturally holds onto dirt much worse than regular clear coat. Yum PPF Serum is formulated specifically to fix that. This is a dedicated, flexible ceramic coating designed from the ground up to bond seamlessly with polyurethane films and vinyl wraps.
You can't just slap a standard, rock-hard paint ceramic over your expensive PPF. Hard coatings can actually stop the film from self-healing in the sun or, worse, cause it to crack over time. Yum PPF Serum is different. It cures flexibly, meaning it moves and breathes with the film while laying down a seriously slick, hydrophobic barrier on top.
Once applied, it completely changes how the film feels and behaves. It takes away that sticky, rubbery texture and replaces it with a glass-like slickness. Water beads up instantly, bug splats wipe off with zero effort, and your weekly maintenance wash becomes incredibly fast.
Why your PPF needs to be coated
- Flexible Formula: Moves with the polyurethane, completely preserving the self-healing properties of your expensive film.
- Stops Yellowing: Packs heavy UV inhibitors to prevent your clear film from degrading and turning yellow over time.
- Extreme Hydrophobics: Creates massive surface tension, forcing rainwater and dirty road spray to just slide right off.
- Kills the 'Grabby' Feel: Makes bare film feel incredibly slick, meaning your wash mitt glides over the panel safely without dragging.

Pro Tip: Preparation is just as vital on film as it is on paint. Even if the PPF was installed yesterday, you need to thoroughly wipe it down with a dedicated panel prep spray before applying the serum. This ensures all the installation gels and natural skin oils are removed, giving the coating a perfectly bare surface to bond with.
Note: Work in small sections at a time. Apply in straight lines, let it flash, and gently level it off with a low-pile microfibre before giving it a final buff with a plush towel.
