Which is the correct type of paint preparation product for me?
Pre-Wax Cleaners: These products are designed solely cleanse paint using a chemical or very mild abrasive cleaner to ensure you get a better finish and also allows your wax to bond better to the paint. They contain no waxes are designed to enhance clarity of paint, increase gloss and allow a better bond between a car wax or sealant and your paint
All In One (cleaner Waxes): These products like Pre-wax cleaners above are also designed to freshen up paintwork, however unlike a dedicated pre-wax cleaner these also contain their own wax adding both further gloss and protection in a single step. These also make a nice base for a wax often adding a bit of extra durability.
Paintwork Glazes: These products have no cleaning ability but instead are designed simply to enhance the look of paint, these do often include fillers to mask swirls but their primary goal is to enrich paint making them especially effective on solid colours. People use paintwork Glazes prior to waxing to give the absolute most depth and shine to paintwork and adding that extra level of 'pop' and shine.
