HPC Hydro Plast Care is one of those products we tend to reach for when exterior plastics are looking tired but we don’t want a greasy, overdone finish. It’s very much about protection and longevity rather than instant shine, which suits modern trims far better.

From a technical point of view, it’s a water-based plastic care product that leaves behind a hydrophobic, UV-resistant layer. Applied to clean, dry trim, it restores colour subtly and evenly, helping to reduce fading while also improving water behaviour. Rain and wash water bead and run off rather than soaking in, which makes ongoing maintenance noticeably easier.

What we like is how controlled the finish is. It dries down to a natural satin look rather than a glossy, sticky surface, and it doesn’t attract dust in the way heavier dressings can. Used correctly, it feels more like a protective treatment than a cosmetic cover-up.

For us, Hydro Plast Care is a solid option if you’re looking to protect exterior plastics properly and keep them looking original for longer. It’s straightforward to apply, well engineered, and very much in line with what we expect from Koch Chemie’s approach to surface care.
