ShineMate Black Diamond Yellow T80 High Cut Foam Pad
The ShineMate Black Diamond Yellow T80 Cutting Pad is a medium–heavy cutting pad engineered for serious correction work where stronger bite is needed without losing control of the finish.
Using ShineMate’s Black Diamond laser-cut foam profile, the pad maintains stable contact with the surface, improves cooling and reduces pad hop—allowing compounds to work more efficiently across the paint. This makes the Yellow T80 ideal for removing P1500 sanding marks, heavier swirls, wash-induced marring, water spots and light scratches on a wide range of clear coats.
When paired with an appropriate medium or heavy cutting compound, the T80 delivers fast removal of P1500 sanding marks while still leaving a finish that can be easily refined with a medium or finishing pad. It’s suitable for use with DA, long-throw and forced rotation machines, making it a versatile choice for both professional detailers and advanced enthusiasts.

Why ShineMate Black Diamond Pads?
The ShineMate Black Diamond pads are a revolutionary new patent pending series of polishing pads developed for use with both a Rotary and Dual Action Polisher. The ShineMate Black Diamond Series pads offer a number of unique features to create possibly the perfect polishing pads. The most notable feature is the diamond face, designed to reduce heat build and polish splatter. The diamond face reduces the surface friction keeping the surface cooler and more controlable.
The Black Diamond pads also have a angled edge design, so it's possible to polish extremely accurately to the edges of panels. The other benefit of this design is it creates edge to edge backing of the velcro, which aids in centering the pad and on dual action polishers reduces the chance of pad failiure. The pads also feature a centre hole designed to reduce heat build up which can lead to premature failure of the pad. In summary, these pads were developed from the ground up to be the most effective on the market.
