Serious foam with useful cleaning ability

Koch-Chemie Ultra Foam is a highly concentrated foaming cleaner developed for professional vehicle washing. Its surfactant-rich formula creates a dense and stable foam blanket that remains on vertical panels, giving the wash solution time to loosen general road dirt before it is rinsed away.

Ultra Foam sits in a useful position between a completely neutral maintenance foam and a heavy-duty alkaline pre-cleaner. Its measured pH of 8.8 gives it more cleaning intent than a purely neutral shampoo, while its strong foaming and lubricating behaviour make it well suited to regular professional wash processes.

It can be delivered through a foam lance or professional dosing system and can also be used as a hand-wash shampoo at the appropriate dilution. The concentrated formula keeps consumption low, while the berry-and-peach fragrance makes it particularly appealing where the appearance and experience of the foam matter as much as efficiency.

Ultra Foam is aimed at detailers who care about how a foam behaves on the vehicle. It builds the sort of dense, stable coverage that makes it easy to see where the product has been applied and gives the solution useful contact time across doors, sills and other vertical panels.

The pH 8.8 formula also makes sense within the Koch-Chemie range. It offers a step up in cleaning intent from Gentle Snow Foam while remaining less aggressive than a dedicated heavy-duty alkaline pre-cleaner. That makes it a strong candidate for frequent professional washing when foam quality, lubrication and economy all matter.

For the dirtiest winter vehicles we would still choose a stronger pre-cleaner. For delicate maintenance washing where neutral chemistry is the priority, choose Gsf. Ultra Foam earns its place between those two jobs.

How to use it

Check compatibility Read the current product label and confirm the surface, equipment and intended use are suitable.
Work on cool surfaces Move the vehicle out of direct sunlight and make sure the bodywork is cool before application.
Dilute correctly Set the concentration for your foam equipment and the level of dirt. For hand washing, guidance from current distributors specifies dilution up to 1:300.
Apply evenly Foam the vehicle evenly, ideally working from the lower sections upwards for clear, consistent coverage.
Allow a short dwell Let the foam loosen dirt for up to approximately five minutes. Watch the surface continuously and never allow it to dry.
Rinse thoroughly Remove the foam and released dirt completely with high-pressure water before continuing to the contact-wash stage.

Rules of thumb

Not sure? Start with Gentle Snow Foam for regular washing. Move up one step if it isn't lifting enough.

Hard water? Choose Ultra Foam. It is the only foam in the range with a chelator built to deal with it, and it still suits coated cars.

Need a boost? Instead of switching products, add 10-30ml of Green Star to a 1L Gentle Snow Foam lance bottle.

Always Rinse before the foam dries, never foam in direct sun or on hot panels, and use gloves and eye protection when handling concentrate.
