Autoglym Polar Wash

Start by ensuring your car's bodywork and wheels are cool to the touch and out of direct sunlight. We recommend pre-washing with Polar Blast to gently loosen dirt, or rinse with water if you don't have it. Mix Polar Wash at your desired dilution (we don't recommend stronger than 50:50) and adjust your foam gun settings accordingly. 250ml of mixed solution should cover an average car. Spray from bottom to top, covering all exterior surfaces including glass and wheels, then agitate for the most thorough clean.

Polar Wash can be used at various dilutions depending on how thick you want the foam. However, we wouldn't recommend using a dilution stronger than 50:50 (half product, half water). You can adjust your foam gun settings to increase or reduce the foam density as needed. Start with a weaker dilution and increase if you need more cleaning power.

Autoglym Polar Wash is designed as the second stage of their three-stage Polar range process. It follows the pre-wash stage (Polar Blast) and comes before the protective coating stage (Polar Seal). This system approach ensures you get the most effective clean and protection for your vehicle.

No, Polar Wash is specifically designed for use with a pressure washer and foam gun. It's formulated to work at the pressures and dilutions that pressure washers provide. You'll need approximately 250ml of mixed solution to cover an average sized car. Since you're diluting the product (typically no stronger than 50:50), this means you'll use around 125ml of neat Polar Wash per wash. The 2.5 litre bottle should give you plenty of washes, making it excellent value for money.
