The APS FP75 Backing Plate is a 75mm backing plate designed as a replacement for the 75mm backing plate included with the Flex PXE 80. The Flex backing plate whilst good is an all-plastic construction, offering little flexibility or give during certain work loads.

The APS FP75 offers everything the original is missing. It features a stainless steel core for durability and balance, with a flexible ruubber outer. This rubber outer layer helps to reduce vibrations and offer a little bit of flexibility when working on curved panels or tight areas that require a little bit of give.
