How to use CLEAN. Spray Polish
To use this spray polish effectively, you can adapt it to both compounding and polishing tasks depending on the pad you pair it with. For compounding, pair the product with a cutting pad to tackle more aggressive imperfections. For polishing or jeweling, pair it with a polishing or jeweling pad to achieve a smooth, glossy finish.
Start by priming your chosen pad evenly with two sprays of the polish. This initial application ensures that the pad is properly lubricated for optimal performance. For subsequent passes, reduce the amount to just one spray to maintain a consistent working surface without over-saturating the pad.
Set your polisher to a speed between 3 and 4 to ensure the product works effectively without creating excessive heat. Work in a crosshatch pattern, applying gentle, even pressure as you make 1 to 2 passes over the surface. This technique helps to break down the product and achieve the desired results.
Once you've completed a pass, wipe off the polish using a clean microfiber towel and inspect the surface for defects. If necessary, repeat the process until you achieve the desired level of correction or finish. If you notice the pad becoming clogged with residue or dirt, clean it thoroughly before continuing, or switch to a fresh pad to maintain optimal performance throughout the job.
