Reactive Rust Remover (Rrr) is one of those products we bring into the process when normal washing just isn’t enough. When paint or wheels feel rough to the touch and we know iron contamination is embedded in the surface, this is the type of chemistry we rely on to break it down safely.

Technically, it’s a pH-neutral reactive formula designed to dissolve ferrous particles by chemically reacting with them. We see the familiar colour change as it works, which gives a clear visual cue that contamination is being lifted from the surface. That reaction process allows us to remove bonded fallout without aggressive mechanical claying.

We tend to use it after washing but before polishing or applying protection, particularly on vehicles that live outdoors or see motorway mileage. It works well on both paintwork and wheels, and with sensible dwell time and thorough rinsing, it leaves the surface ready for the next stage.

For us, Rrr is a proper decontamination step rather than an optional extra. When we want the paint genuinely clean beneath the surface before refining or sealing, this is a very dependable solution.
