White's a bugger to keep clean, I opted for the MK3 ST 2.2 TDCI instead of the new model although it was a close call.

nice car james, still hopeful they'll bring out a ST version of the MK4, although not sure how they will improve the styling.

Firstly they will have to fix the boot of the 5 door hatchback. If there is lots of surface water on the rear window as soon as you open the boot the inside of the boot gets flooded. Hopefully when it is all waxed there won't be a whole lot of surface water left so it won't be a problem in the future.

I went for the MK4 over the MK3 purely down to styling so didn't look in to the MK3's.

I am sure an ST would of been out of my price range anyway. The 2.5l petrol looks pretty good on paper though.

I paid pretty much the same for my ST TDCI compared to what I could get a titanium x 2.0 TDCI after trawling the net.
I loved the ST and went for that although I do like the MK4 styling too.
