Cheers Dan. Interior pics werent the best but quite a few in general came out well.

Finally got round to uploading pics so here we go...

Sorted finally. :nilly
This Range Rover sport was a low mileage vehicle but still needed some tlc to get it standing out amongst the crowd.
A Beau Technique dodo stage 2 detail with dodo juice lime prime machine cleanse was in order.
From afar, this Range Rover sport looked passable as a tidy and presentable vehicle until we went in for closer inspection.
The culprit in question...

Image

To be honest, it does look worse than it actually was but the general idea has been portrayed so far.
On with the process.

All lower sections including wheels / arches / door shuts - jams / engine bay were pre treated to Meguiars super degreaser via 5 ltr pump sprayer.
Whilst this was soaking runner boards were aggitated with Meguiars brush...

Image

Same rules applied to the rubber floor mats then whole vehicle ( and mats ) was rinsed thoroughly.
Next up was the wheels which were cleaned using Autosmart smart wheels at a medium mixture and aggitated with various brushes...

Image

Image

The wheels were then rinsed thoroughly and Iron X applied to remove any forms of iron / metal filing contamination...

Image

As you can see, this was a much needed excercise.
The purple on the wheel is the product actually breaking down the contamination.
This was then rinsed thoroughly and on to the wash regime which included a gratuitous bought of snowfoam action via foam lance with Autobrite direct supa snowfoam.
This was left to dwell for a few minutes to loosen road grime and debris...

Image

Image

Whilst the foam was dwelling I set to all the badges, knooks and crannies with a soft hair brush...

Image

Once all this was completed, vehicle was rinsed thoroughly then onto the wash stage which consists of 2 bucket method with grit gaurds, non silicone Z sponge and valetpro poseidons carnauba wash shampoo...

Image

The Range Rover was then rinsed throughly then dried using Autosmart waffle drying towels and Autosmart tango as drying aid.

The scene now set...

Image

Interior first up to ensure vehcile was dry prior to machine polishing.
Whole interior was vacuumed, all intricate areas were brushed with Meguiars sidelock detail brush and awkward areas with cotton buds.
Leather was cleaned with Planet Polish leather twins as it gives a great clean and fresh feel to the leather in comparison to various other greasey leather products on the market.
These actually deep clean safely and are pH balanced to suit automotive leathers.
New genuine Range Rover carpet floor mats were supplied and fitted.
Whole interior was wiped clean with Meguiars all purpose cleaner and microfibre towels.

Image

Image

Image

On to the exterior sides of things.
Vehicle was de-tarred using Autosmart tardis apllied via a microfibre towel.
Clayed using yellow poly clay and dodo juice born slippy as clay lubricant.
As you can see, some forms of contamination and definately more than expected of a low mileage vehicle but this can be caused by 101 different factors...

Image

Under the lights there was little in the ways of major defects or RDS
( Random Deep Swirls / Scratches )

Image

Dodo juice lime prime was a perfect candidate for the job.
This was applied by makita 9227 cb rotary machine polisher and 3M black finnesse it foam pad...

Image

Great results after a couple of sets as predicted so onwards and upwards with the rest of the vehicle...

Image

Nice bit of metalic flake pop eminating from the paint after machine polishing...

Image

Image

Bonnet all nice and complete after machine polishing sets with dodo juice lime prime...

Image

The whole vehicle received the same meticulous process.
All trim was dressed with Autosmart trim wizzard, wheels sealed with smartwax rimwax, tyres dressed with finish kare 108as top kote tire dressing, arches / engine dressed with Autosmart highstyle, glass cleaned and sealed with Permanon glass cleaner and sealant, LSP / wax was several layers of dodo juice hard candy.
Some finished pictures for admiration...

Great car and a firm favourite for Beau Technique to work upon...

very nice work, the DJ LP really makes the metallic colour come to life.

Cheers for the coms.
As for the sponge.....

Oh yes, it is that. Got fed up with using sheepskin mitts and used to use the zymol sponges so thought I would give them another chance and tbh, cracking wash item.
