'evening guys and gals - after missing my regular car wash last weekend due to rotary polishing practice, I got to wash the black car this evening.
I wanted to try out a new product, Dodo Juice Need for Speed and used it on the bonnet. Having washed the car with Dodo Juice Sour Power, I dried off and gave the panel a good wipe over with a EuroW towel.
This product claims to clean, polish and wax in one product - so, an AIO, then
I applied the Dodo Juice Need for Speed product with a Sonüs Professional hand applicator on the black side, initially, flipped over to the yellow side and at the end used the black side to even up.
Application was a doddle - just wipe on. I took the opportunity to work it in well in the hope of some good cleansing and a light polish. There is a very good long work time and plenty of time to lightly even up the product with some neat lines to leave to dry. Buffing off was easy, too - the product just came away leaving a pleasing finish.
... here's the kind of effect - clear and bright, but with a good depth:

Closer inspection had me wondering if the cleansing power is "all that". I headed back in and pulled out Serious Performance Paint Cleanser (a pure cleanser), Dodo Juice Lime Prime and good old AG SRP. After a small application of each, the panel did look better cleansed with Serious Performance Paint Cleanser really doing a good job and AG SRP looking really good, but sterile against the Dodo Juice Need for Speed finish.
I wipe over those areas again with Dodo Juice Need for Speed and decided to leave it at that and see what this forthcoming rain looks like on the finish.
In summary, yes, it's a good product - the look is clean, bright and with some depth and application gave a near creaking/light creaking sound when well worked, so I guess the light polishes in there are doing their thing.
For well maintained cars, where a quick clean up and wax is all you want; even for regular use, this product is really good. Comparisons to other AIOs, like Klasse AIO, Car-Lack68 NSC, AG SRP or even UDS are a little futile since they're all sealant finishes whereas this product leave a waxy finish that does lend some depth. It put me most in mind of Mother's Carnauba Cleaner Wax.
Colour - deep orange/brown.
Scent - there's something, but you only get hints of something while working it.
Look - deep, but also bright and clear.
Feel - Not overly slick, but certainly not creaking.
I'll leave you with some eye candy

Hopefully, I will be able to report on beading soon enough with the rain we're expecting and follow up later with some thoughts after the next shampoo wash.
