'evening Guys - I have procured a tin of #16 from our good hosts here. I have read really good things about this wax, especially that it is almost as good as Collinite 476S. I know ... I know ... I really should have saved that tenner towards a pot of Pete's, or something, but I got giddy with a large(ish) order and tacked a tenner of wax on the end
What experiences of this wax do you guys have? Any tales?
This evening ... after voting and buying some potatoes, I spritzed the 'vert boot down with Meg's #135 and one of my new Eurow mega-weave, ultra-soft, baby's bum soft towels and dropped some #16 on. My goodness! This wax is wet ... not when applied, but with the slightest touch in the tin. I got scared and applied it with a foam applicator, literally dabbed in the top which covered the boot twice over.
I'd love to try this stuff by bare hand ... maybe at the weekend on the bonnet, coz I have my Adsa/Tesco el crappo product test to play with on the boot
Any experiences? Given that it turn to liquid instantaneously that it is touched, perhaps it is full of solvent; like Collinite, but more so. I know how to work with Collinite, but this was is so wet to use. Is it going to remove delicate products underneath? Say, glazes? Of course, I will experiment as I always do
