Carlack 68 - Long Life Sealant then XXX Hardcore Paste wax??

Post by bungle89 » Thu Mar 26, 2009 3:12 pm

Hello all, i have recently purchased some XXX Hardcore Paste Wax and was wondering if it is correct to use this on top of the carlack sealant?

I will wash, clay, AG SRP then apply the sealant then the wax is this correct?

Cheers for the help up front!!

George.

Haven't used that combination before but the order sounds fine

You can layer the sealant, prior to putting the wax on top. I think it recommends at least 4 hours between coats.

do you mean 4 hours between coats of sealant if i decided to use more then one?

I was thinking one coat of sealant and a couple of layers of wax to get a wet look, I am new to this, does it sound right?

also how long between the sealant and the wax?

Cheers :)

also how long between the sealant and the wax? By the time you've done the entire car, you should be able to begin waxing

Cheers :)
