Roof Cleaning

Post by teamleader » Wed Aug 22, 2018 4:31 pm

Hello,
Just wondering how everyone cleans their roofs? I tend to find it pretty easy when washing using a short platform, but when polishing or claying using the platform I find it difficult without having to lean on the roof and trying not to put too much weight on and cause a dent. Do you open the doors and have afoot on the steps and one on the seat?

Thanks

Depends on the car tbh - I do open the doors and sometimes stand on the seat, as well as using a short platform.

Up until recently I had a large SUV and stood on the wheels

...now I am back to a Golf I can reach across :D

Having a Kuga with a pano roof, I stand on the rear wheels and can clean with ease.
