Just a little review of CarPro - Fog Fight, now not having ac fitted to my car the dreaded fogging of windows is a pain at this time of the year and after trying many product which have proven useless to say the least, I thought I’d give this ago.

First impression, very well packaged supplied with everything you need to apply product to windows. So all windows cleaned first with AG fast glass, I then set about applying Fog Fight which has a pleasant smell, I did rub in well but did get a slight haze on front screen as well as rear window once finished, maybe next time I would use a micro fibre cloth instead to rub clear. Now this has been on my windows for over a week and I can confirm this does work I have had no fogging on any windows, and as of yet not had to put the rear heated screen on.

Pro’s very good value for the money at £5.95 because it works, can’t say how many cars you could do as that would depends on whether you do all windows or just front and back as product needs to be re-applied each month.

Con’s, it would have to be the slight haze on screen but as stated using a micro fibre cloth to rub off maybe better.

Just a bit of info I have taken from another site.

lately there were some confusion about the Fog Fight application

so i researched this with our engineers and made some tests!

we found out that the room temp effect allot the curing of the coat on the glass and thats why it can make the streak or haze if its wiped off too soon..
so here is the update about the application :

let cure before wipe off !!!!
-5 ~ 20 deg.C = 10 min
20 ~ 30 deg.C = 1 min.
make sure you apply on dry surface!! and full covering the glass while applying , spray even twice to fully cover everything
this will prevent the streaks and haze you got..

I have it but gave up. It does work but the application is really hit and miss. You can get an almost crystal clear finish but I find that it compromises the performance - the antifog lasts much better when the finish is streaky/oily. I am just using one of the multitude of glass cleaners with antifog built in. On one hand, it isn't as good as the fog fight because it tends to last only a week or 10 days but I use it only on my own car and would tend to clean the windows this often anyhow so that doesn't bother me. The benefit it gives is that there is no messing about, you just use it like a standard glass cleaner.

I guess I guess don't have the patience for Fog Fight, others may decide otherwise but I am certain it is a product to polarise opinions.

Never really got on with it and finally lost patience with it!
Now consigned to the back of the cupboard
