Hello everyone,

I am starting my own detailing service and have been trying to do as much research as I can before ordering products and getting going.

I would like to ask the opinion of those here who have been running a detailing business as to what they think of my list of equipment, products and procedure etc. Of course I know a lot can be subjective but if there is anything major that stands out, please let me know.

You would be better with 5ltrs of Apc/dressings/foam/shampoo/iron remover/tar remover etc ,as your going to go through your products very quickly . I'd be tempted to contact your local Autosmart rep and buy in bulk . Or bulk 5ltrs from the Cyc shop .

+1 on arranging to see an Autosmart rep.

May I also suggest booking yourself on an Autosmart training course; there is plenty to be learnt if you're doing it as a business and I think it is so important to first become really good at simply cleaning cars to a high standard before getting into the realms of paint correction and so on.
