When I got the call to book this car in I was shocked, I had never even seen one in real life before so was going to be great to work on..... so I thought! What a complete nightmare this job was haha, Well worth the efforts in the end. Many 14-16 hr days for what seemed like very little progress.

Anyway here are the pics.

This is the car on arrival, It had just come from Japan, 2months on a car ferry not in a container and what a state it was in!

Wheels cleaned with Smart Wheels, G101 on arches and tyres and various wheel woolies and valet pro brushes

Then the full car was pre sprayed with Maxolen Pre Wash, Snow Foamed with Mild TFR and then washed using Car Skin Foaming Shampoo

Car was brought inside and clayed, then inspected under the lights.

UhOh!!!

I tried all sorts with this paint, the best I found was megs 105 and 205 then using s30 and 40 at the end. It was terrible.

Here are some before and after shots etc.

Trim was treated with Auto Finesse Revive, Glass with AF Crystal tyres with Zaino Tyre Gloss, exhausts with mercury and wheels with Mint Rims

This loverly F430 was booked in for a winter protection detail. More details of this service can be found on my website. www.griffithsdetailing.com

The idea of this service is to add maxium protection over those winter months, however on picking the vehicle up I was told the car is only used maybe once per month and the owner was looking for a nice glossy finish. For that reason I slightly changed the service and the vehicle has been booked in again twice over winter for wax top ups.

Havent really took tons of pictures as its a straight forward detail so ill let the pictures mainly do the talking.

Car recieved a full decontamination including snow foam, wash, tardis, iron x and clay
Image

Roof was treated with the immense Car pro fabric guard
Image

Wheels where removed, cleaned and the treated with Raceglaze nano wheel sealent
Image

One stage machine polish using Black Fire Gloss Enhancing Polish and then 2 layers of Raceglaze 55 wax to leave this finish

Image

Image

Image

Glass was protected using Gtechinq G1

Thank you for looking

Chris

Sorry for lack of write ups recently, Working 100% on my own its really hard to find time to take pictures of each stage and get around to writing it all up. Anyway I was asked by a few people on our Facebook page (Link in signature) to do a few over the next couple of weeks. So here it goes.

This Nissan GTR was brought up to myself with the view of correcting the paint as much as possible and to lay down some really good protection. As you will see the paint work was shocking due to the softness of Nissan paint and clearly hadnt been overly looked after before the current owner purchased the vehicle.

Here are some pics on arrival

Image

Image

Image

Image

There was venture shield covering the front end of the vehicle and I was asked to also remove that.

Image

This proved very dangerous, I feel lucky to still be here.

Image

Car was pulled outside, Pre sprayed with Maxolen pre wash

Image

Image

Image

Image

This was then rinsed, Car was snow foamed using the ever brilliant Autobrite Magi foam

Image

Image

This was left to dwell for around 10 mins then rinsed, I moved on to wheels and arches. Arches sprayed with G101

Image

Wheels sprayed with Autosmart Smart Wheels

Image

Worked in with wheel woolies, various brushes and then rinsed

Image

Image

Vehicle was pulled inside, dried and inspected under lights

Image

Image

Image

I then clayed the car using Auto Finesse Clay and Paint readings taken. I then started to correct the paintwork using Meguiars 105, 205, Polish Angel Final Master Polish and then wiped down with IPA. Here is a few pics
You can see here the change in depth of colour without need for direct lights

Image

Under direct lights

Image

Image

Image

Exhausts cleaned using Auto Finesse Mercury and Mothers Power Cone

Image

Image

Finished pics (you can see exhaust here)

Image

You can see how badly Nissan match there bumpers here, this is from factory! EEEKKK!!

Image

Thanks for reading! Next up Honda NSX
