Bright pink and smelling of suntan lotion, Poorboy’s Wheel Sealant can be used on aluminium, coated, chrome and painted wheels and offers superb protection from the environment and brake dust.
Brake dust attacks the wheels and can leave you with corrosion, so the price of this Wheel sealant is much less than a set of new rims.
Poorboy’s Wheel Sealant provides a clear, shiny and protective coating that will block out the dirt and pollution. You apply it like you would any wax or sealant, buffing to produce a shine and then the dirt and dust sit on this coating unable to break through it. It also means that your wheels will be easier to clean next time.

A couple of times a year I clean the wheels with a good citrus based cleaner followed by towel dry. This leaves the wheels free of any baked brake dust and greasy materials. Add a coat of Poorboys to that, finish off with microfibre. Job done. Does take a little patience, but the product is easy to use and smells lovely too. Once on, regular washing is much easier with a big reduction in brake dust bonding to the rim under heat. As others have noted, tar spotting is less of an issue too. Deffo one to treat your car to before winter if nothing else.

After applying 2 coats the wheels are a dream to clean, tar doesn't stick anymore and the alloys can be cleaned with a damp cloth. No need for alloy cleaners. I was amazed how much more brake dust showed up after applying the paste. recommended.

First wheel sealant ive used and its very good, easy to apply and buff off and it also makes it shine that little bit more than it did before it was applied, obviously only on wheels in good condition. 5/5 from me

Applied to the front and back of my Schmidt wheels and its made them so much easier to keep clean - simply wash over with shampoo and water and the brake dust lifts off!

This stuff is amazing. Apply and only ever use shampoo to clean your wheels. Muck just falls off. Never need wheel cleaner again.
