When someone describes a wax as ‘awesome’, you know you’re on to something good and that’s how one reviewer described Dodo Juice’s Blue Velvet.

Dodo Juice like to create a range of hard and soft waxes that work for either light or darker paints and Dodo Juice Blue Velvet is the hard wax for darker paints. Using montan wax, which is ideal for bringing out dark colours, dark bees wax and grade 1 Brazilian Carnauba and you have a pretty special wax that Dodo Juice have called Blue Velvet.

Dodo Juice Blue Velvet makes dark colours look inky, slick and glossy that holds its own against the elements and gives you some impressive beading.

Apply Dodo Juice Blue Velvet with a foam wax applicator, allow to cure them buff of with a microfibre towel.

...Very easy to apply with a cloth or applicator and just as easy to buff to a fantastic shine. Made our 14 year old Obsidion Black (Metallic) Merc E Class look just as good as the day we took delivery. Smells good enough to eat too!

Easy to apply - I recommend applicator pads rather than cloths to apply - and even easier to buff to a shine, with the added bonus that there is no white deposit like the polishes I've used previously. The pot looks small, but after using it I can see it will last for ages.

Introduced to Dodo juice about 6 years ago by a friend, not bought anything else since. Blue velvet is fantastic as are all their waxes, bought for black metallic and it certainly brings the paint work alive!

No doubt about it this is a brilliant long lasting hard wax, with the kind of depth and clarity you expect from Dodo Juice, I have been using this wax for 2 years now, and the only reason I havn't given it 5 stars is due to the arrival of Blue Velvet Pro. We all want our cars to be protected and look immaculate so why settle for normal Blue Velvet anymore? Pay the extra, upgrade to Pro and enjoy even more wet-look, supercharged durability than before!

hmmmm, not sure about this one felt a bit let down really when up against vic'c concourse vicky wins by a long way im afraid. worth a try each to there own but i found it a tad dull and lasted about 4 weeks then beading was failing but as a summer wax okish not worth the price tag or the hype

This stuff is amazing! Gave a new car finish to my 7 year old black BMW. I used the applicator pad and the wax goes on so easy! Its a hard wax and that put me off before as I though more work would be involved but its so easy I can't recommend it enough if you have a black car.

AWESOME the only word for it. Brings up my black A3 like its just been painted leavs a lovely wet mirror finish. Amust buy if you own a black car.

For pre-Christmas despatch please order by 4pm on the 21st of December using the next day courier option. Cut off for Royal Mail 48 tracked is midday Thursday 21stDecember. Our courier DPD are delivering up to Saturday 23rd of December (using the Saturday Delivery Option)

The website will remain open for business as usual through the festive period.

We will re-open for processing orders on Wednesday 27th December to Friday 29th, before closing again until Tuesday the 2nd of January

We offer a number of shipping methods for Dodo Juice - Blue Velvet based on your location and how quickly you want it to be delivered.

UK Mainland Delivery:

You can opt for Standard Delivery or if you're in a rush you can select the Next Day or Saturday delivery option. Next Day applies to orders placed before 3:00pm and will arrive on the next working day (which excludes weekends & bank holidays). Saturday delivery orders must be placed before 3.00pm on the Friday. Some geographical restrictions apply.

Orders over £100 to UK Mainland addersses are available with a Free Delivery option.

Scottish Higlands and Islands & Channel Islands:
