Collinite No.476S Super Double Coat wax  is the permanent car wax.

Without doubt Collinite 476 is the most durable car wax we have come across. It doesn't smell great but once you see just how good the results are and how easy to apply you will forgive it that. Buffing of is also childs play and the results look absolutely stunning. It adds depth to solid colours whilst not muting the flake on metallics.

Super Double coat paste wax #476 is a Carnauba based wax packaged in a tin that looks like it belongs in the 50's. Don't let that fool you though this is one of the finest waxes on the market. It is a true paste wax and contains absolutly no cleaners so by applying multiple thin layers you leave a finish which is more durable than not just any wax, but just about any sealant on the market.

Infact Collinite #476 is so durable that the manufacture claims one application will last a full 12 months come rain, snow and sun!  This is the it's true forte. Bought my self a tub of this 3 years ago after reading strong reviews and I can honestly say it is worth every penny. I still have loads left and have used it on my last couple of cars. One coat of this stuff was enough to see the car through the winter! If you use this in combination with a softer wax on top then the finish is amazing.

I used this on my RS clio 172 cup and mk4 golf gti yesterday and i put teo coats on each car and it doesnt even look like ive used any, but i think i left it on the bonnet of the clio a bit to long it was a pig to buff off, but the beading was amazing i posted a pic of the golf gti on here showing the beading, great product!

Great carnauba wax with sealant like durability, amazing water beading, great shine on bright/metallic paint. Used this on top of a variety of sealant or glazes and cleaned/clayed surfaces with differeing but equally good results. Must be applied thin and applied to a panel at a time. Must not be allowed to dry to a haze for too long. Overall, it gives a brighter look without being sterile like most sealants. Can be layered, but may not be as needed since 1 coat is already durable enough.

This is my first proper car wax having only used cheapy turtlewax items before. The difference is massive!! Made my black mini look superb, very easy to apply and remove and hardly any has gone from the pot! Beads up very nicely, even after the snow and salt/grime which has been on my car this week. Washed the car today and have the first waxed look back again, and the car was very quick to dry.

heard about this on another forum so i give it a go,WOW what a finish,dirt and grime just slides of,beads up so well its fantastic stuff.been on my car now for two months and looks like i did it yesterday.my car is steel gray metallic and it stands out so well,try it,you wont be sorry.

New to "detailing" but after using clay and then this wax I was amazed at how my 12yr old paintwork on Audi Quattro came to life! Great shine and beading and was easy to apply, although do what the tin says - panel at a time as it's harder to rub off if left. Wax has only been on a week, hence, the very good and not excellent. Great product but clay first, it makes a difference.

Frankly the best wax I have ever used. One tin has lasted me nearly 3 years and I wax at least once a fortnight. Normally combine both 476 and 845 for winter months. Waxes on/off easily in cold weather. Leaves a lovely wet look on all colours. One aplication has lasted 5 months on my sisters vauxhall and is still beading, even under heavy traffic film.

Bought this after some rave reviews on DetailingWorld and wow! Did half my Minis bonnet to give it a test and beads so well! Very impressed but want to see just how long it lasts

Used this today and must say had a hard job rubbing off, but I really think I must have left it on the car too long before wiping off, not sure if that was the correct thing to do.
