Collinite No.476S Super Double Coat wax is the permanent car wax.
Without doubt Collinite 476 is the most durable car wax we have come across. It doesn't smell great but once you see just how good the results are and how easy to apply you will forgive it that. Buffing of is also childs play and the results look absolutely stunning. It adds depth to solid colours whilst not muting the flake on metallics.
Super Double coat paste wax #476 is a Carnauba based wax packaged in a tin that looks like it belongs in the 50's. Don't let that fool you though this is one of the finest waxes on the market. It is a true paste wax and contains absolutly no cleaners so by applying multiple thin layers you leave a finish which is more durable than not just any wax, but just about any sealant on the market.
Infact Collinite #476 is so durable that the manufacture claims one application will last a full 12 months come rain, snow and sun! This is the it's true forte. Somehow Collinite have managed to manufacture a wax so extremely durable it becomes the ideal choice all year round protection.All this makes Super Doublecoat #476s a very popular choice for winter, throwing off the worst weather with ease.

I took advice from this site and used this stuff sparingly using a foam applicator, it went on easily, and i left it for about 5 minutes or so and buffed off which was childs play. After doing the whole car I waited a few hours and gave it another coat. 1 month later after a small wash the car is still beading water like it was just applied. I have faith this stuff is going to last a long time. Strongly recommended.

Great product. goes on easy and comes off easy as well, the trick is NOT to plaster it on just use sparingly, and only do a couple of panels at a time. Then go back and buff the first panel then wax the third then buff the second and so on. I don't know why they say it smells bad because I love the smell. Would defiantly recommend it, great results

Great product - goes on easy with a damp applicator pad or microfibre pad, let dry to haze and buff off - 2-3 applications work best I think and lasts quite a while but I wonder how long it actually does last! Makes dark paint pop and quite glossy so am happy with it so far!

very good, hasnt rained where i live for about 5 days applied collinite 476s and ran the hosepipe over the car! couldnt believe what i was seeing. the water just rolls off its amazing!

I bought this wax for the winter period, as my P21 wax was only lasting 3-4wks in the summer. The wax is very easy to apply and remove, and gives a great glossy, wet look to the paint in low light levels. When the sun is out the metallic flake really stands out. Not yet found out how durable it is, but the beading - compared to P21's - was pronounced. The beads were taller and rounder, and more tightly packed. It looked fantastic!
