Clearkote Compound Moose is designed to remove minor paint defects, wet sanding marks, oxidized paint and overspray and swirl marks.

It works superbly well by machine or hand to eliminate mild paint defects.  Its combination of oils, cleaners and abrasives work to restore the paint without excessive dusting or hazing. It will not harden in cracks, crevices, doorjams, body molding, etc. and and residues are easily wiped away.

It is also wax and silicone free, which means the results you see are the results you get as it doesn't fill or mask the defects.  Clearkote recommend that you use half the amount you would normally use for compounding, which makes this a great value compound.

We recommend followingthis up with Clearkote's Vanilla Moose Wax Hand Glaze or Red Moose Machine Glaze to remove any minor hazing and really bring the paint back to life.
