I'll start by apologizing for the picture quality, I had the camera on the wrong setting Rolling Eyes

This write up is to highlight our new entry level detail. The Basic Detail is designed to give customers an introduction to detailing. By balancing time, budget and results we hope this detail will attrack new customers, giving them the opportunity to sample the world of car detailing.

This Golf GTi had been detailed once before the owner purchased the car, so a good wash, clay and layer of wax was needed to make sure the paintwork underneath the dirt stayed in the best condition possible.

Before

Summer time bugs which needed some attention

The owner had removed and cleaned the wheels a few weeks earlier, so just minor brake dust to deal with

Wheels

As always the first job was to start work on the wheels. AS Smart Wheels was used on the inner rim and faces, with Malco Outrageous Orange being used on the tyres and wheel arches.

Wash

The wash stage starts with a citrus degreaser on the lower half to help break down the dirt and grime. After several minutes this is rinsed with a PW at high pressure. Meguiars Shampoo Plus was used for the two bucket wash, along with a noodle wash mitt. Once the paintwork has been washed the car is dried with a Miracle Drying Towel and AS Reglaze

Clay

The car was then clayed using Sonus Green and plenty of lubrication. This helps remove any contamination still left after the wash stage, and prepare the paintwork for the wax layer. With the car being black and only booked for a basic detail, it is very important to care extra car with the clay stage to minimize any clay marring.

Wax

Once the car has been clayed the paintwork is prepped for the wax using AS Reglaze The wax of choice was Swissvax Oynx

Extra’s Once the paintwork stage is complete the interior is given a quick tidy, glass cleaned and tyres dressed.

Finished

Thanks for looking, any questions just ask

Regards, Simon

I hear ya buddy, but it does help attract a new customer base that would otherwise be put off with the larger prices. Which helps in these TET's
