Aye, thats the pic! So how do you rate it against your current fav, Artemis?
It's a little early to say, certainly too early to make a decision versus Swissvax Best of Show. I like it better than Chemical Guys Pete's 53, which I regard to about as close to Swissvax Best of Show as you can get for looks without actually buying the stuff.
Versus Artemis Wax Seal? Well ... I actually found the curing of Artemis to be worse than Supernatural, requiring a considerable buff later, but boy was it worth it. It didn't do it the first time I used it, but did thereafter. For application, looks and longevity, I think I'd still err on the side of the ValetPro product.
... for ethics and purity, it has to be Supernatural. The reason I came back to it was for the purity of the product. I really want the purest look - machine polished and a pure wax.
I would still wholeheartedly recommend Artemis Wax Seal to anyone - I still think it is what Collinite 915 really should be and will continue to use the pot I've bought. The thing is, it works without all the voodoo
Dodo Juice waxes seem to really need that pre-wax cleanse, which is okay for most of us but not something I can tell the average Sunday car washer to try - they just wouldn't get it.
I am a lot happier about Supernatural now. I have heard rumblings from Dodo Juice that they're going to tweak it further and hope to be at the forefront of some testing there. I don't want them to change for the worse. This is the most pure wax you can buy - there's nothing other than natural products in there, with a little magic. It truly is the purest wax for the purest finish, but I would not recommend it to everyone - just those who want to go that extra step and are prepared to invest the time and energy into getting the very best that they can.
Yup! I'm a convert
Still, my favourite other waxes are:
1. Chemical Guys Pete's 53
2. Pinnacle Souveran
3. ValetPro Artemis Wax Seal
4. Collinite 845
5. Collinite 915
6. Autobright Butter/Better Wax
7. Crystal Noir - yes, there's an outsider
Still yet to try Victoria Wax Concours, but kind of hoping what appears to be a victory (fingers crossed) in the monthly competition might change that
