Post subject : Spit shining
|
 |
|
I've read on another forum about spit shining the wax using very cold water in a spray bottle
I believe you spray very cold distilled water onto a panel. Then apply your wax and buff until the droplets have gone. let it dry and buff off.
Has anyone tried this technique and is it worth the effort |

I thought I had read on here somewhere, that you apply a layer of wax, then spray QD on top, then apply a second layer of wax, then buff off |

I found this on the autopia.org forum, in the Hall of Fame section.
The cold water is supposed to stop the old wax on the car from breaking down by making it harder. The colder the water the better
I guess there is only one way to find out if it works. |

would applying on a newly rinsed car without completely drying have the same effect? |
