Beginning to think I've made a huge mistake trying to use Gyeon Q2 Can Coat. I've spent the past couple of weeks cleaning a polishing my TVR using Menzerna 2200 followed by Menzerna 3500. Applied the first coat of Can Coat a small area at a time, buffing off as I went. Aside from a couple of small areas that did not get buffed out fully, it looked good. Left it about 1 1/2 hours and started the second coat of Can Coat, which is when it all went wrong. I was using a small sponge applicator pad to apply it, and in hindsight using the same pad for coat 2 was probably not a good idea. Anyway, coat 2 is almost impossible to buff off, and there is a large area with what looks like dried residue. Can this be salvaged, or given up as a bad job and wait for it to wear off?

Did you wipe it down with GYEON Q2M PREP or IPA diluted with distilled water before applying the Gyeon Q2 :?:

No, neither. Think I'm going to remove it all and try something else.

Try taking a clean applicator, dampen with Can Coat, wipe over the area where you have the unbuffable sections and immediately buff clean with a clean microfiber.
Normally, a reapplication of these type of sealants will "soften" the existing remains enough to buff them off.
