I guys, I recently brought some cheap, unbranded car shampoo, to use for door shuts ,sills, alloys and tyres.
it was £2 for a litre and was from home bargains.
think its called "CAR KLEEN SNOW FOAM".
anyway, when I came to use it, it produced lots of suds {I know suds don't do anything, but I prefer them}, and the water was very slippy/well lubricated.
i would say more slippy/lubricated than my megs gold class/ultimate wash and wax.
so i decided to use it for my bodywork instead.
it cleaned well, and gave a nice finish/shine.
in fact i would say it was better than my megs shampoo.
so, as its cheap/unbranded, will this do more harm than good?

thanks

I've only ever used some Simoniz shampoo bought for £2 when it was on offer , it didn't play too well with the Sonax Bsd that was on the car , some people may have liked it but it wasn't for me. I now stick to branded/tried and trusted shampoo. My favourite at the minute is an Autosmart one which I can't remember the name of but it wasn't expensive for 5ltrs , it's at least a match for the Powermaxed shampoo I've also got which cost twice as much for the same amount . I'd say if your happy with the results stick with it .
