My CRV is not yet 18 months oold and, on Tuesday it'll be going in for the dealer to rectify it's 3rd fault.

1st fault was when the electrics played up, apparently it just needed a software update.

2nd fault was an exhaist sensor which needed replacing

3rd fault I think is a gearbox issue, don't know what yet but it's stuck in either 3rd or 4th gear and neither changes itself or will allow me to change it with the paddles.

2017's looking good

That's such a crying shame that you have experienced these issues.

Honda always had a great reputation for reliability in the past...what's the Warranty like?

3yrs or 60,000 miles. I'm not worried about the car or warranty just the inconvenience and of course it guarantees I won't ever have another Honda. In all my years of driving I've never had a car with such poor reliability.

No need to run mate, it's the worst car I've ever had in terms of reliability, I can't believe how poor it is.

Joking aside, sorry to hear that.

Most definitely, as has been every other car I've ever owned including my first car, a Vauxhall Chevette 8-[

Well, got my car back. They fitted a new battery as apparently it was showing low voltage, they checked and cleared all error codes and took it on a good test drive ............ but it can't have been that good cos they didn't notice my cruise control was reading in kmh whilst my speedo is in mph and that my stereo was in Danish when I am infact English. Fortunately I know how to correct the last 2 myself after having been back to them the last time about the same issues.

I await the next thing which'll go wrong.

You appear once in a blue moon and then simply to tell me that I was wrong, thanks pal

Seriously though the RFL would have killed me with the Foz but yeah I miss driving a Subaru. I had a lovely Skoda between the last Foz and this Honda and that would have been preferable.

Never mind, you live and you learn, even at my age.
