So what has gone wrong with this application? I've used this before on the wifes 2009 car and the glass is fantastic but it's ruined my new cars screen :roll:

This is on an Oct 66 plate car with 2k miles (4 months old).
It was G4 Cleaned, then wiped with IPA to clean any left over residue. 3 coats of G1 with 5-10 minute interval and then a 3rd coat applied and left for 20 minutes before being wiped over with G2 residue remover. Car left garaged for over a day so no water had access. What could have caused the blade judder?

Same application method but it no likey something?

If I drive at 40mph+ the water just runs off but that's just not possible everywhere :D So should I get the Das 6 out and take it all off? what will get it off? I have some megs m105 would that remove it?

All I can suggest is you follow Gtechniq's method and not the one you tried

I don't think you have done anything wrong, a lot of car wipes judder on top of fresh G1.

There are a couple of options;
first off, thoroughly clean the wiper blades, white vinegar is good for this
If that doesn't fix the judder, wipe over the blades with G1, same as you did the windscreen

And if they still judder, try a new set.

Applying G1 to the blades cured mine.

Thanks mbaker, I'll try the g1 on the blades method as I did clean the blades with ipa but that may have upset the rubber slightly.

Yes don't use IPA to clean rubber. I would use an APC.
